Planning network cabinet and home server

For our new build (single-family house) I am planning a network cabinet. A total of 13x Cat7 cables will terminate in the utility room.

I would like to store the router, switch, patch panel and a power strip in the cabinet.

We are getting a FritzBox 7590 AX from the provider, in the shopping cart I currently have a 10'' switch, 10" patch panel and 10'' power strip. Which wall enclosure do you recommend? I am currently considering a 10'' with 6 U.

We are also getting outdoor cameras + doorbell with PoE. I would like to centrally store the data instead of on the camera's SD card. What system would be suitable for that? The hardware should preferably also fit in the cabinet.

Okay. Realized it myself. 13 cables require at least a 16-port patch panel and therefore a 19'' enclosure.

I will revise my shopping cart again.

In the shopping cart I now have

19'' 16 Port Patch Panel
19'' 9-port power strip
19'' 16 Port Switch (I cannot tell if it offers PoE)
19'' Enclosure (which depth should I choose 400mm or 560mm?)

Can I get a mini PC with software and store everything there?

Then consider a NAS, for example from Synology. With the Surveillance Station you can record cameras, receive notifications, and so on… Of course, with the NAS you also have your own cloud and can do much more with it.

In addition to Rick, I would expand your built-in devices to standard sizes; 24-panel and 48-switch. It doesn't cost much more and you are on the safe side. Possibly you can integrate POE directly into the switch. I would recommend a depth of 560 if there is no lack of space.
