I have now ordered a network cable connector CAT 7 LAN cable connector LSA tool-free from HB Digital.

So. I still have 10 meters of Cat 7 cable left. Can't I actually make patch cables for the switch out of it now? Then I wouldn't have to buy ready-made 20cm cables for 30 euros. I'd just order the connectors cheaply.

I would keep the long cable, it can always be useful, and I’d rather buy ready-made patch cables for a few euros. Effort/time, in my opinion, speaks in favor of buying.

You can do anything. Note that the CAT7 installation cable is usually stiffer and thicker and the "normal" connectors do not fit properly. Find good, slim patch cables easier to handle in the network cabinet. But everyone (penny pincher) has to find out and judge for themselves

You can do many things. But reasonable crimp connectors are much more expensive than the finished short cables.

If it is a [Verlege] cable, then forget it. The name "Verlege" is not in the cable name for nothing.

If it is a patch cable, you can put crimp connectors on it, but personally, I would always buy ready-made cables. I wouldn't be interested in that fiddling.
