And in the end, you won’t even notice the 10cm more or less anyway...

3.10m is a statement where you can definitely see it. But whether it’s 2.60, 2.70, or 2.80 – you probably won’t notice it afterwards at all.

That would be too high for me too – also because of painting .

What I find important with high rooms is rather to plan the door openings accordingly high – otherwise it looks pretty stupid...

Sebastian, you have a similar height as we do on the ground floor. How did you plan your door openings?

Already a bit higher when you now see your finished floor level. But they are 2.32m doors.

You notice 20cm, I saw that after the screed. But up to the ceiling beams we will only have 2.42m, with 22cm beam height. It was a compromise for a higher knee wall on the upper floor due to the eaves height restriction.

Hello,

we are planning a finished ceiling height of 2.70m on the ground floor. Do you know how high we should plan the doors?

Best regards
Sabine

At least 2.10m. These are still somewhat standard dimensions and the additional cost is reasonable. As far as I have heard, anything above that is significantly more expensive, but someone else can probably say more about that. By the way, with our 2.42m, we also have 2.10m doors.
