I would not go higher than you have planned.

The next height would be 272.5 .... do you think that would be too high and doesn’t look good? Or does it seem strange when you are in the room?

I have 2.72m in all rooms - am very satisfied with it.

How tall are your rooms? Do you have the height on the ground floor and upper floor?

I think that 10-15cm does not make a significant difference. Of course, nowadays you shouldn’t go below 245cm and over 3m is rather rare, or the rooms should have a certain size (the 9m² guest room might look strange then). In between, it’s a matter of taste in my opinion. A 45m² living room can be cozy with both 245cm and 280cm ceiling height. Besides, much of it is also habit. I don’t think that one experiences significant loss of comfort if the ceiling is 260cm instead of 275cm, even if one might perhaps have found it nicer afterwards.

Anyone who might want to install a dropped ceiling or pendant lamps should tend to plan the ceiling somewhat higher.

Yes, on all floors. The living room has 60 sqm, the bedroom 27, and the guest room only 18 – looks good in all rooms.
