Don't go into defense mode right away, I'm asking honest questions and don't want to embarrass you or anything, I'm genuinely interested in the answers and your experiences. I also have no space in the house and have already thought about where and how I would place a battery. Wrapping it in insulation in (my garden shed) was also an idea. That's where I ran into the problem of overheating. But if you don't have any problems with that, it probably isn't that bad? Otherwise, air conditioning might really not be such a bad idea. It wouldn't have to cool to a comfortable 20°C like a frost guard but only prevent the temperature in the insulated box from going above 40°... and then you could also do without the frost guard and just have the air conditioning in there. Are there air conditioners where you can set such a large range? Like do nothing between 5 and 40°, but heat under 5 and cool over 40? That would be interesting...
