Pay off a semi-detached house or invest in a new building (at the employer)?

How old are the mentioned costs for the new build? When I google a bit and look at current costs, 3133€ per m2 are realistic in the area.

The fixed-price contract is here in the living room. 3,100€ really is upscale luxury here in the region... It could also be that the semi-detached house has KNX, pool, etc. But without such details, I consider the price high.

When completed? The increases are coming weekly right now. Be glad about your "favorable" price.

So for 1-2 days a week at the employer, I wouldn’t put myself through the stress of building a house again, unless there are more things you’re unhappy with that would improve as a result. Or you just enjoy building the house.

We both work from home because of the C-situation, but we go to the employer 1 to 2 times a week. One way is 120 km

Only because of the C-situation? Later on more on-site again? That would be the decisive question for me.

Oh yes, I overlooked/misunderstood that. If after reaching the endemic phase your AGs return to the status quo ante, that would be one more reason - true.

Would do it if you see yourself long-term with the current [AG] and there are also other interesting [AG] in the new region. You can afford it, so why should you commute that much? I would also take a look at a single-family house instead of a semi-detached house.
