We had to replace our Beko dishwasher last year after 9 years because more and more spots on the racks started to rust and other small parts broke down. Since the racks were no longer available as spare parts, we decided to replace the whole unit.
It felt like our simple Beko from 2007 cleaned better, was easier to load, and was much faster than the current mid-range model from Bosch.
However, loading also depends somewhat on the dishes used. Especially our coffee pots were much easier to fit in the Beko.
On the other hand, the noise level of the Bosch is significantly better and the drying works somewhat better, which is probably due to the length of the drying program and the automatic door opening after completion. When comparing the noise levels of manufacturers like this, Miele and the BSH group are definitely leading.
So I cannot say that more expensive always means better.
