Opinions on our basic floor plan design wanted

Well.... from the side, the SbS isn’t really the eyecatcher..... rather the front! We basically planned everything in the house flush with the surfaces as much as possible, so we didn’t want to make an exception with the fridge.... The granny flat is for my mother who is moving in directly, so basically a multi-generation house, although we made sure to have strictly separate entrances and no connecting doors at all. My mother is already looking forward to 3.85m ceiling height on the west side..... lol

Refrigerators look very shabby from the side, unless they are supposed to cost over €10,000.

You can use the sides well as a magnetic board

I think these walls emphasize the heaviness and are unnecessary frills if you think simply in the sense of minimalism.

Hello KingSong... I know... very old thread... and I think you have already settled well in your new home. If you have a version of your floor plan in "better" quality and with more measurements, that would be great. We are currently planning as well and are really unsure about the dimensions of the living room and the dining table/kitchen. Many thanks! Martin
