Mmh. Be careful with what the site manager "manages to do" and what one calls livable. A drain through the living room is not exactly the background noise you want, for example, with the Christmas roast.
Yesterday we were at a contractor again and he also said that the water routing and the bathroom position can be done quietly and without problems. I have my doubts and we will try to position the bathroom differently.
At first glance, I also find it okay. I would make the hallway closet 60 cm deep and swap the door with the tall cabinets in the kitchen. The fridge and oven are too far from the work and storage surfaces. The upstairs is not optimal at all: floor-to-ceiling windows right at the shower exit. These windows are always locked so no one can peek.
We would make the floor-to-ceiling window mirrored on the outside or frosted. But a non-floor-to-ceiling window could also be installed there.
You seriously want to live where your cars graciously leave you space???
In my opinion, a parking space could also be in the building setback on the other side, and it’s rather rare that both cars are premium rides that need to be wrapped in cotton wool at night.
Where do the strange measurements come from (walls 2 cm thicker than usual, room widths fantasy dimensions)?
Yes, and we drive two "premium rides" and I would never leave my car standing in a carport, especially in winter or rain. So we often consider the option of a garage and a carport, but for us, it only comes into question as a last resort. The walls have these dimensions because Archicad includes the plaster. So these are completely normal 36.5 cm walls.
I would extend the wall between the bedroom and walk-in closet and put a door in it. That way, a teenager can use the bathtub later without having to walk through your bedroom. Also, you disturb the still sleeping partner even less when rummaging through the wardrobe (with light!).
That’s a good idea. I will extend the wall and install a door. Because we actually get up at different times.
Thanks for your opinions, more of those are welcome...
