I agree with many things here:

[*]Move the carport to the other side, and in return give the kitchen a window.
[*]Access to the pantry from the hallway.
[*]Combine the windbreak and the hallway.
[*]Have the provider confirm that the utility room works like this (space for the house connections? Expansion tank? Possibly controlled living room ventilation + heat recovery).
[*]Possibly plan the kitchen open, we had something similar once, in my opinion you don't need a dining area in the kitchen if the dining room is right next to it.
[*]Furnish the bedroom anew or change the window. One does not want to sleep under the window.
[*]You get wet feet in the upstairs bathroom on the way to the toilet (because of the shower).
[*]Would it be okay for you to shrink the office to the width of the corridor, design it open to the corridor, and just put a desk there? That would greatly enhance the children's rooms. You would have to give up the right side shelving wall, possibly set up a folding screen.
[*]Alternatively: warm roof, fixed steep stairs upstairs, then office under the roof.

[*]Afterwards, the views must be checked if windows were changed!

Thank you. The furniture is simply drawn that way. That’s why I don’t see any problem in the bedroom either. The bed will simply go against the wall where there is no window, and the wardrobe against the wall where the door opens. That’s the current idea.

Would you still leave a wooden staircase when combining [Windfang] and [Flur]?

Has anyone ever seen a pantry like this under the stairs? I’m asking again because I currently can’t quite imagine what the whole thing looks like from the outside.

I think we will definitely mirror it (but I would want to keep the garage in the north). Mainly because of the argument of a shorter path from the carport to the door.

We have a storage room under the stairs - but concrete. Rather unspectacular. I think Toxi has one too.

No, Tox has an open steel staircase with a chest of drawers underneath. At least, that's how it looked in the pictures. I'm sure it's an open steel staircase because we have the same one ;)

Oh, no - then it wasn't Toxi... it was Manu. He also posted pictures of it here: It reminds me again that we still have a lot to do - it looks much nicer at his place than ours at the moment :D

Nope, it wasn’t me, that’s my wardrobe and the litter box. Although I do find something like that nice.
