You're right, I expressed myself in an extremely complicated way. Since the discussion has now progressed, I combined the two options into "Heart with Brain":
Red are only wall panels. You leave only openings to the hallway. If that’s a problem, a door can be installed quickly later. The island would then become a peninsula, and I would push it against the outer wall (green arrow). I would make the access to the pantry from the hallway (so basically through the wardrobe). You can move the wall between the hallway and pantry downwards on the plan to create more space for the wardrobe. Additionally, the space under the stairs can also be used.
I would definitely also use the kitchen unit on the right side as a countertop – otherwise there is not enough surface. Specifically, for example, a 3.8 m kitchen unit, of which at the top side 1.2 m is for fridge/freezer and tall cabinet, the rest is workspace with upper cabinets. Opposite that then 2.6 m peninsula as well as 1.2 m passage. The peninsula should have a minimum depth of 1 m, and the kitchen unit could also be made deeper (about 80 cm) to have space for toaster & co.
Ahh now a light dawns on me :)

Ahh thanks, now a light dawns on me! :) The door through the wardrobe was also our idea.. but the "flair" of a built-in wardrobe is somewhat lost or the wardrobe has to be long enough, like here (I estimate including the door 4 meters?):
