Exactly. But I rarely use the extractor hood because it actually disturbs. A drawback that can be considered secondary because my food does not stink either.

Can she at least stand your smell? o_O

Your examples do not reflect your question. Your views reveal the question: hallway open or not.

Yoah mostly yes. It's more that she doesn't like or tolerate certain ingredients. Fish or onions, for example. I, on the other hand, like those a lot. Luckily, she likes garlic....

I would swap living and cooking. In summer, as a childless person, you are usually outside with children anyway. Short distances to the outdoor dining area – fewer sand dunes. Open/closed to the stairs, I would prefer a middle ground.
