Base price €13.90. kWh 30.37 cents

.....Ok....so we have Magenta (I didn’t really take that as a joke ;) ). and a 100 line (one receiver). Actually, we should cancel that so we can renew it in two years.

We pay €13 per month for household insurance. Not a bargain, but bicycles and sports equipment are included. We have almost everything insured with Allianz. Whenever I compared, there wasn’t much saving potential that would make me want to miss the service. But I’m switching to annual payment now. That saves about €140 per year.

Thanks for the effort. But I see in the screenshot that my phone doesn’t appear anywhere?! Then I would have to take a different insurance where the phone is included. And since the topic is actually becoming really interesting now, André: have a look at the combination of “phone insured in the hospital” and “electronics in the caravan on the parking lot or pitch.” In my experience, the more expensive ones also include a more demanding need. Ok, then you add the bicycles and suddenly you’re over €300. You don’t do that on purpose. It’s also a problem if you have expensive furniture and a vinyl record collection. You have to really increase those values so at least the furniture is insured in case of soot damage. Oh yes, while writing I actually thought of something else: many don’t include soot damage, but only fire, meaning if it’s burned. If you only have smoked walls, the house is practically uninhabitable, but not an insurance claim. It’s practically a total loss and happens more often than a fire... So you shouldn’t only look at the price, but what is included.

I was wrong, the phone is probably included as well.

I explicitly didn’t look for a phone because it is usually rarely included. After all, it is something that can quickly "disappear." Of course, the question here is whether everything must be insured, which Germans like to do, but in the end comes with a (hefty) surcharge. You have to see if you really need it that way or find another solution... and I prefer to save on the premium... as a result, the insurance increases the premium, then maybe something more serious, that is much more expensive, and suddenly you get canceled in the end. Then rather, as you already wrote, a separate insurance for the phone, depending on whether that case is then covered.
