Ongoing additional costs - Realistic?

Internet for 60 euros goes very quickly when you want higher data rates. Additionally, there are fees for TV reception, and depending on the provider, monthly rentals for routers and(!) TV reception devices are even added. Plus GEZ, Prime, and Netflix, it quickly approaches 100 euros. Then two allnet flats with iPhones for both... oh, I better stop ;)

And there 60 euros are not justified.

Depends on where you live. Where we are building, Telekom is holding back on expansion and if you want more than DSL2000 you have to take the BLS (Breitbandausbau Zweckgesellschaft). They then charge 50€ for 50 MBit. But without internet, home office just doesn’t work.

I have the Telekom Magenta M package (100Mbit) with 1x router, 2x receiver, and Netflix. I pay 70 euros per month. How can this be cheaper?

Magenta is not mandatory! Internet and landline flat rate for 30€, plus Amazon Prime (for shipping costs) Comes to under 40€

So we pay 22 euros per month for our 50 Mbps connection (no higher speed available for us so far) including an all-net flat to all networks. Additionally, there is Amazon Prime at 69 euros annually and Netflix Premium (currently still 15.99 euros). Together this amounts to 44 euros per month for landline + internet + TV. Netflix is split between my brother and me in half. That makes it 35 euros for me.

I am surprised by your building and household insurance.
This year I pay 360 euros for building insurance and 300 euros for household insurance.
The household insurance remains the same, but the building insurance increases yearly (the older the house gets).
I have already compared online, but I don't really get a better deal there either...
