We got the Dyson V11 some time ago. It was available with full equipment at a good price. What can I say, I’m totally thrilled. Vacuuming used to be a “huge deal.” Grab the thing, plug in the cable, then switch plugs when it got too short. Then constantly rolling over or getting stuck on the cable. It annoyed me terribly. It led to almost never just quickly vacuuming something up because the effort was so big. Now it’s so convenient. Pull it from the charging station, quickly vacuum the doormat or whatever, and done. Above all, the handheld vacuum function is so cool! We had looked into devices for a while beforehand and here we also have the not exactly cheap Bissell Crosswave. I absolutely cannot recommend it. It just stands here now and is hardly used. Crap thing.

After that, I was very interested in the Miele. But small details annoyed me, so it became the Dyson. Alongside the lawn robot, one of the best investments.

You probably mean “Dyson” too?

The Dyson is truly an absolute masterpiece. I also really enjoy vacuuming with it... but the €700 really hurts for a vacuum cleaner... It fits somewhat into the line: XXL tiles, lift-slide door, ceramic countertop. But unfortunately, it's cool :)

I've never heard that about a vacuum cleaner before. :D I find vacuum cleaners the most uninteresting thing in the house (even after roller shutters).

I have a Dyson V8, but I still prefer to use my good old Miele bag vacuum cleaner with a - and this is crucial - Elras multi nozzle.

Yes, cordless is nice, but I find the Dyson's handheld part quite heavy and the constant button pressing is a totally unergonomic hand position for me. So I'm actually glad it only has 15 minutes of suction power, because by then my thumb falls off anyway.
And without a floor nozzle, nothing works (at least with my model). In other words, if I just hold the tube (without an attachment) somewhere, it doesn't even suck up cobwebs. With my Miele, it sucks in the cobwebs and also the paint from the wall :D
