The kitchen of my mother-in-law is several decades old and, as an extension to the classic hob, an old-fashioned coal stove is used. This is how a dozen people are wonderfully and deliciously cooked for with homemade food on certain occasions. My wife has fortunately 'inherited' this trait - even though our kitchen is a bit more modern and, as an extension to the classic hob, we occasionally use our gas grill or the 'backup kitchen' in the garage :) Of course, everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to spend money on - the same goes for a warming drawer. I invested in a fingerprint scanner for our new front door - for other useless gimmicks. Pyrolüüüse (insider joke), on the other hand, has never been used by us.
