so a few pictures would really help and aren't particularly difficult to take. any phone can take pictures, and with Wi-Fi at home, they can quickly be uploaded here. pictures can be attached directly here. then it’s also much easier to see how, where, and what might be problematic, etc...
as andi already wrote, the financial compensation will be so ridiculous that it basically never comes into consideration. you won’t get the theoretical repair damage but a fraction of it, if anything at all. even if you simply say 1000€ per living room window and 500€ each for the bathroom and utility room, would 3000€ compensate you for this mistake? everyone would laugh at you for that; when selling the house, the loss in value is much higher than 3000€, so does the money even help?
on the other hand, you also have to consider that the repairs carry considerable potential risks. there is a danger of cold bridges, leaks, or the like. the windows could also get scratches, etc. during the conversion, which usually have to be accepted or lead to utterly ridiculous compensations (unfortunately...).
even if this is repetitive and the damage is already done: it could have been seen that the windows are too deep. did you never visit and look at the house? there are actually meter marks on the walls. never measured anything? I walked through the construction site with a laser measurer and was shocked at how large the tolerances on the construction are but basically, everything was right and the very few important measurements (closet niche 305cm) matched.
