Hmm..I think I just had a little mental block.
The architect takes the drawings/results of the structural engineer and creates the detailed drawings, right?
If the structural engineer is already drawing these detailed drawings, do I still need the architect?
Presumably, this cannot be said so generally, but I still don’t fully understand what the architect does in the execution planning, apart from printing the plans at 1:50 instead of 1:100 and implementing the specifications of the structural engineer.
Maybe to add: The structural engineer, our friendly contractor, and the engineering office work together very often, so they know what each can do and needs or has to deliver.
