Hello,
you misunderstood me. As I wrote before, I am completely on your side. The general contractor messed up and now has to deliver what was agreed upon. Whether it makes more sense to change the windows or to agree on a financial compensation is actually something only you can decide. If you are very tall and these living room windows were supposed to show the great view, a change is indispensable. If, on the other hand, you are only 170 cm tall and these windows would only show the next garage 5 meters away anyway, I would seriously consider whether it is worth partially tearing down the house and changing everything.
