Was the L deliberately chosen for the living spaces? I see no reason for this property not to place the living spaces entirely on the garden side. The chill room can be separated. Entrance rather from the north side.

I also like the design very much. However, I also have some criticism: - The door to the utility room is too narrow for me in the kitchen corner. You always have to pass by the person who is currently working in the kitchen (it’s not always the same person) so I would place the utility room door on the ground floor at the entrance to the kitchen and leave the corner of the kitchen as it is. - Then I would add an east window to the bedroom and turn the bed with the headboard facing south. - Some people don’t care, but the kitchen door shifted a bit towards the bathroom door would be better for many, so arrange it opposite the stairs. That would also have the advantage that not everyone has to pass by the stove and refrigerator to get to the living room. - Bathroom upstairs: I would swap the shower and toilet, and also extend the long window accordingly. Advantage: The toilet is somewhat hidden but with a view outside. - For me, the accesses to the terrace are too few.

The L shape resulted from the rooms, it was not predetermined on our part. How would you arrange it differently? Swap kitchen and living room? The entrance is currently on the north, the plan is not oriented to north but includes a north arrow. Many greetings! mini

We had already thought about making a glass door to the living room instead of the glass element. We wanted to close it completely there, but the architect said it would be better not to close off the wall there in case the living room should one day be separated as a separate room with a new wall to the dining room.

No, everything is correct! The first version had the entrance at the front. But I definitely wanted a "proper" roof, and to both of us the entrance then also seemed too exposed. It was already an L-arrangement though. Hmm. I have to think about it again. Greetings! mini
