We had asked the architect and nothing from the upper floor would be heard on the ground floor. But we were more concerned about the children's bathroom. If we only mirror the upper floor, there simply wouldn't be a terrace for the children. We liked it because when they are older, they can meet friends there and don't have to "hang out" just anywhere. We always enjoyed it when friends had a balcony somewhere. We wouldn't need the additional balcony; we can sit downstairs. In the last version, the light shaft's technical area was still under the entrance door. We were as proud as punch that we had noticed that. Thank you! mini

Mistake on my part, I very briefly saw the wardrobe as a room. Of course it has to stay!

Mirroring it yourself would not be ideal, as you then have a room facing E/NE. I can't think of a perfect solution offhand either. The idea with the terrace is nice. The question is just how often it will really be used. The same applies to the living room. Off the top of my head, I don't know how to add more depth there. The entire floor plan would probably have to be adjusted for that.

Somehow I'm missing a turn here. Where is the [Lichthof] or are there two? Is one passable? Is the north arrow correct on all sketches?

I really like the design. I would want to live there immediately. I don’t have any concerns about the living room. You have the openness with the large windows and also towards the dining room. I would probably add a window in the dressing room, but not everyone might like that. My children always enjoyed having the balcony to themselves with friends, and that can also be well realized in your case. Regarding the kitchen, I would still consider whether the access to the utility room might be better placed elsewhere so that the space next to the cooktop is not cut off. In my opinion, you always need quite a bit of space on the right and left there.

All clear - the basement is wrong. Could we still get a site plan including the property and streets?
