I am rather of the opinion that the pure land value model offers the fewest points of attack. Provided that the [Bodenrichtwerte] are also done properly.
@all: Is it known whether there will be a controlling authority for this? I can hardly imagine that the municipalities will voluntarily forego this sudden windfall.
I would say not at all, even though the former finance minister O. Scholz said no one will pay more than before. I guess he doesn’t remember that anymore either (like with quite a few things).

Would you find a model fair where someone who has a doghouse on a 2,000-square-meter plot pays exactly the same property tax as someone who has a house with six rental units on a 2,000-square-meter plot? I would already be happy if the standard land value zone were congruent with the 34 area... Matthias

Yes. Because in reality, no six-family houses are built in Hintertupfingen village. But rather somewhere in the city where the land value tax is much higher.

Yes, but the owner of the doghouse can't do anything about the fact that some plots nearby were sold at crazy prices, which drove the standard land value up. Should he now sell his doghouse and ask the buyer of the plot if he may at least move into a tent in a corner of the property? Matthias
A property tax taxes real estate. One can see that as good or bad, I don't care. What is clear, however, is that the ownership of a lot of expensive land should be taxed higher than the ownership of little or cheap land. Of course, one can also see the property tax as a real estate tax, but then one has other problems. Keywords: definition of living space, fictitious rents
