What does this "from" mean?

What about existing properties?

I also fear that it is not enough. This year I built in BW, 130 sqm without a basement, already owned the (small) plot, and despite using a regional construction company and doing many tasks myself as well as with the help of friends who are craftsmen and family (plumbing, underfloor heating, heat pump, screed insulation, painting, floor coverings), I ended up over your budget.

Hello Lanini,
thank you very much for your detailed and straightforward answer...
We now have two appointments at Town & Country and Heinz von Heiden. Then we just have to see what comes out as "standard"... I think nobody can make much use of the "starting prices."

Our budget is "well calculated." We also have a small business that currently yields about 10,000 euros annually; I have not included profit shares, vacation pay, Christmas bonuses and I am still allowed to go on holiday for 5,000 euros per year...

But precisely at that point I wanted to save last... you can’t want everything, that is more than understandable, but of course I have to see if it’s not possible... where compromises can be made, whether that then suffices or not.

Definitely not unskilled in craftsmanship, but as you say "that can really go wrong." I definitely consider myself an organizational talent, but we are the first in the family circle who are actually "building."

We earn together (currently my wife is on parental leave), so when she works part-time again, about 3,300 euros net... A repayment over 35 years of about 1,100 €/month is planned...

Many greetings and many thanks!
Dominik

Thanks Winnie! That's exactly the problem... We also first thought about existing properties... but the prices are even less favorable, as "strange" as it may sound... The standard house offered in our price range of 300-350,000€: built in 1940, everything renovated in 1990... that's it... If we spend 300-350,000 euros, then there is no money left to completely renovate the house from 1990 at first...

But we are also keeping our eyes open here, we are not "focused on new construction," if there is a great existing property, we will look at that too

Thank you very much!!! We primarily want to see if it's even possible at all... If Town & Country then tells us "Raumwunder 100 without underfloor heating, manual shutters, etc.", then we are within the price range... THEN we have to decide whether that is enough for us... or not. The post was mainly about which prefabricated house suppliers we can still check out, maybe the secret cheap ones that you don't have on the list at first.

The cheapest building plots at the moment start "ab" about 90-100,000 euros directly from the municipalities (of course you have to apply first, etc.)... Existing properties with a house to be demolished are even higher (ab 130,000€). An existing property is also an option, price-wise we're just on the same level here... built in 1940, renovated in 1990 for 300-350,000€... which primarily means: no budget left for renovations and renewals... but we're keeping an eye out here as well
