… that will certainly NOT happen! I am (relatively) sure of that. I am realistic enough to turn all costs, all prices over three times and to question everything critically...

Either it will be enough then (which I currently also do NOT assume)...
or it will not be enough... then that is also okay

You can tell from your answer that you are looking for someone who says yes, it is possible... And that even though 50 others say it is not.

Honestly? I thought exactly the same while reading, as Tom then wrote.

It only sounds that weird if you let yourself be dazzled by the catalog price or the one quoted by the BUs. There are still incidental building costs, landscaping....

Yes, just get some advice. When you read that, you tend to believe the one who comes home with a signed contract without owning a plot. “The BU will do that, plus it’s 10% cheaper and you get an Opel Adam and an iPad for the electrical control.”

That’s why you’re looking for the cheapest provider, even though you can guess that after the contract there will still be plenty of costs you have to carry yourself. You can suppress these costs for now, but they will catch up with you, as already said.

I am grateful for every opinion... but I find some statements simply a bit premature and cheeky... Yes, I know that many (and the house sellers are trained to sugarcoat things anyway) then have trouble with the costs... and yes, I know many say "that won't happen to me." Therefore, I am glad about every "slap in the face" from you... When I have offers from the companies, I can specifically enter into discussions again, can also rethink my finances and see where I can tighten something up... Maybe then the "pros" here will say, "It doesn't look that bad after all," or the opinion remains the same and it says "stay away from it"... Even if answers come again like "I can already tell you that you should stay away from it"... I am grateful for every message, whether positive or negative... That way you get a feel for it yourself, and the more you read and discuss, the more you realize that reality and wishful thinking are two different things!

I find €3300 too low for new ownership. Are you at least soon out of parental leave so that more money can be earned? Or did I not read that correctly when skimming?
