I'll join in here. We also want to build, with a 99,000 Euro plot of land, and then a Living Haus Sunshine 143 V4 or V5 from 100,000€, but that is probably only the bare shell. The prices come from Fertighaus.de, no idea if they are accurate. We only have 15,000€ of equity which we do not want to include. The plan is to do as much as possible ourselves. I learned construction work, but then switched to mechanical engineering. At the moment, we have a monthly budget of 2,900€, also because of parental leave. Does anyone know how it works with Living Haus concerning OBI and the value check? Please also open my eyes.

The purpose of the OBI voucher is to ensure affordability. So instead of having to settle 1000 individual invoices with the bank (which they probably wouldn’t agree to anyway), the OBI voucher is included as a comprehensive item in the house price and is financed as normal. For projects with a lot of own work, this is certainly sensible, but I have also read here in the forum that what was calculated there was nowhere near enough in the end.

Not saving any equity but spending 5000€ annually on vacation does not fit together if the plan is to build a house...

So back to the beginning and read everything again.... But behold, no equity. Then it really doesn’t fit and it shows concerned and helping readers where the interests and demands lie. And as long as that is the case, building will certainly not happen....

Yes, I also looked for equity in the thread and found nothing. But the salesperson will sort it out. Not few, although they are cautious, still came out of an information session with a signed house construction contract without land. We have already had everything here
