It has nothing to do with hassle. Towels, for example, are simply more comfortable coming out of the dryer.

It was more about overcoming the hurdle of folding it together. With the dryer, of course, it's more convenient to just quickly take out the laundry and leave it in a pile. If you have each item in your hand anyway, you can just fold it right away, and with the clothes drying rack, you also have the appropriate surface in front of you ;) And yes, towels are more comfortable from the dryer for the first 2 uses. But I have lived for 15 years without a dryer and don't really miss anything

. What do you mean by modular??

You know that the cabinets will only be set up in the basement?

We want to have a row in the basement where the sink is integrated (it has to be directly next to the washing machine because of the water connections)

We want to put our SodaStream in the basement and connect it to a 10 kg CO2 cylinder

We have no space for SodaStream in the kitchen and especially not for the 10 kg gas cylinder

The kitchen unit shouldn’t be too expensive and doesn’t have to look top-notch since it’s only in the basement

Yes, you wrote that

Yes, exactly…

… therefore, don’t think only of a sink cabinet, but integrated in a row. Ikea offers several kitchen cabinets that can be combined with each other. On top then a countertop. That is called modules, so modular.
Even a basement can and should be comfortable with affordable furniture.

Which series from Ikea can you recommend that is good and affordable?

Knoxhult is probably the right choice, isn't it?

Which modular kitchens are very inexpensive and have a wide selection?

Then we can pick out exactly the parts we need.
For example, we only need cabinets and no cutout for electrical appliances.
