I would then also rather reverse in to be able to drive out forwards.

Then you can at least quickly drive off forwards if the neighbor wants to get out from behind ;)

Here is an overview from both Google Maps and a photo we took from the dune over the weekend. Unfortunately, this dune is protected. It is a registered archaeological site. Although all trees will be completely removed, the size of the dune must not be altered..... and therefore no house can be built on it.

To be honest, we are not happy with our current plan either. The house will be elongated. That is certain. I will try to work on an updated plan shortly. However, due to the dune, we cannot go so far west. The entire project is by a developer. They own the plots and accordingly build the houses. We have wanted to build with the developer for 2 years already. So that fits. The developer is responsible for the entire project (preparing the plots for construction, tree removal, development up to the utility room of the houses, as well as the construction of the access road). And of course then the erection of the houses. This is accordingly included in the price.

I sat down with the planning again and tried to take your aspects into account. The house is now elongated. The dune is marked. The house is located further east. Carport is closer to the driveway.

You can drive forward into the carport in one go.

However, I am not sure how I should place the carport to also be able to drive backward into the driveway??

Is eight times eleven thirty-five now a concrete "planned" house or just the automatic dimensioning of a random rectangle?

There are all kinds of things. If I dump a few wheelbarrows of soil in my garden, it looks exactly the same. But thanks for the explanation. I was wondering all along why they don't just load this "dune" into a semi-trailer and take it away.
