How big would the lady like it to be? Or do you drive a Hummer H1?

Me too. Well. That can be annoying. Back then, with , I always said that you can’t just shift a car 90 degrees at 3 meters. That was ignored at the time and they planned tighter spaces than mentally allowed. I don’t even know how it turned out because I then withdrew from the discussion. Anyway: you do drive up the driveway or onto your property several times a day... some people here manage that easily with their pinky finger and their elbows on the driver’s door... here you build one stressful situation after another. But everyone understands “coming home” differently ;) I’ll sum it up in a few words: it has to flow smoothly, even under stress, when the child needs to be picked up quickly for the next game appointment.

: :P Well, we left a bit of space everywhere (1.5m extra room at the driveway and 5m space to the rear neighbor's boundary). No question, it's going to be tight and there will definitely be some back-and-forth maneuvering now and then. But I'm already planning with markings for the impact points, etc. We have already agreed with the neighbor that we are allowed to drive onto their property to turn around.

Our landscaper said, 90-degree driveway to the garage, plan about 6x6m fully paved for maneuvering and that is still tight, our solution is different now

That is indeed correct and I often do it that way myself, but in the case of such an accident, you will be told EXACTLY THAT by the police; corresponding court rulings have been made on this in the past, even if it may seem strange at first. If possible, I would exclude such issues through planning when building new. Eventually, you run over the neighbor’s dog’s paw or something else and suddenly you don’t want to live there anymore.
