So that the wall lamps do not cause glare, they should be positioned at eye level. However, to us, that seemed too low. Therefore, we chose a height of 1.8m.

Our lighting designer said something similar. Therefore, I can confirm that as well. Usually between 1.80 and 1.95 (depending on the lamp, height of the house)
Where should the weather station be installed? If you have a satellite dish on the roof, you could use a longer mast and install the weather station above the dish and roof ridge. That way you have somewhat realistic measurement values. This weekend I will mount my rain and wind sensor like that. Rain sensor for irrigation and wind sensor for the venetian blind control. An access point for the terrace is definitely not a bad idea. I have pulled a duplex cable for the terrace. So it will later sit in the terrace area in the corner under the awning.
An exact position of the weather station has not yet been mentioned. Where would you place it? I would probably not put the dish on the roof, but on the facade. Reason: I am planning to install a photovoltaic system in 2021. Theoretically, I could put it directly on the ridge, but that certainly wouldn't look nice, would it? How about an outdoor access point? Moisture? Cold? Are there any experiences with that?

What exactly did you mean by the lightning protection cable? Not the one with the foundation earth electrode, right? Maybe I am confusing something.
The access point must be suitable for outdoor use. For example, Unifi offers the Flex HD
Thanks a lot. The electrician seems to want to force a FRITZ!Box on me. One on the ground floor and one on the upper floor. Does that make sense? Or is it better to go with the ones from Unifi?
