Preparation of cable from the utility room to the carport or garage for Wallbox, possibly even with LAN. Empty conduit in the attic, e.g. for LAN if you want to place an LTE or hybrid router up there.

Empty conduit in the attic is already provided plus cables and empty conduits for the photovoltaic system that will later be installed on the roof. I was considering adding a heavy current connection to the garage next to the Wallbox connections. Possibly for "heavy" equipment in the garden or something like that.

Especially in the utility room, LAN connections make sense. Heaters, heat pumps, ventilation systems, photovoltaic inverters (if any of these are installed there) almost all have a LAN connection nowadays. Washing machines and dryers occasionally do as well.

My electrician said that it is partly the case that the majority of devices operate via Wi-Fi. To be honest, I have not seen an oven with LAN yet. But I also have not paid attention to it.

Where is the network cabinet going? If it’s going into the utility room anyway, you can also run a surface-mounted cable to the heating there. You should also start thinking about the size and position of the network cabinet.

What has come up more often lately is the outdoor access point for the terrace and garden.

Seriously, if you don't have a 300sqm bunker concrete place, in my experience you can save yourself half of all the CAT cables. All devices are becoming more mobile, so WLAN is more necessary.

What is a WLAN cable?
I only know LAN and WLAN.
For me, WLAN is always an addition. Not either-or, but both. Especially for stationary devices.
