I use a Fritzbox 7490 for a 100 Mbit FTTH connection.

I use TP-Link (Accesspoint & PoE Switch), everything runs smoothly. But honestly: the manufacturers don’t differ that much. Sometimes there are glitches in the details if you want advanced features. Accesspoint and switch can also be from different manufacturers, that’s why there are standards. After all, your power outlet for the TV is not from Samsung/LG/Sony either...

I also recommend Unifi. Preferably the new nanoHD. With skins, it can also be recessed.

Exactly, add 20,- and get the new Unifi UAP nanoHD. It's 30% smaller, faster in the relevant 5GHz range, and has newer technology installed (Z-Wave 2).

For the access point, I would also go with UniFi. I am currently running the AC-Lite. It is sufficient for me at the moment, but other models are of course even better.

How many POE devices are there in the entire network? If there are only 2 devices, I would use the supplied injectors. For more POE devices, I would use a POE-capable switch with just over the number of required ports and a regular switch for the rest. I like the devices from Zyxel’s Grundstück-1900 series, but many other manufacturers also have good devices.

The Nano HD is better in the 5 Ghz range but the Pro is better in the 2.4 Ghz range. Not all devices support 5 Ghz, so it's best to check if the majority of your devices can use 5 Ghz.
