That's true. Just like cars and owner-occupied homes. So... lead by good example and do without both.

I wouldn't take it to heart like that. Otherwise, 99% of the people here in the forum are acting completely selfishly when it comes to the world's population. Imagine what could be achieved in the world if we all gave up a few square meters of our homes.

Yes, the example from steffen80 is also very extreme. With 200k euros per year, I would probably spend a bit more as well.

With 1500 euros, I can manage at least 4 months of groceries.

After all, he is putting the money into the hands of the people. It would be worse if he simply burned it.

So if you buy meat for 50€ or more per kilo, quite a lot of people have earned money or at least secured their salary. Usually, behind a piece of meat, for example, there are several dealers, producers, feed manufacturers, machine manufacturers, etc...

Above all, I actively do something for environmental protection as well keyword: factory farming. I also don't shop at KiK... keyword: exploitation of people. I think I have earned a price

Don't take it the wrong way or personally, I just wanted to nudge all readers to think about it. (myself included)

I enjoy eating well and varied myself, you just have to be aware that you are enjoying something very special and therefore maybe give something back to the global community in another form. (e.g., through personal commitment or financial means... everyone as they can).
