Is financing house construction possible within a fixed term?

In Lower Saxony these are completely normal prices. By the way, it's a pity that 10k for a kitchen is already called "cheap" here. I am getting a very nice Nobilia XL kitchen for €10,750 - I signed the contract last week. I find it crazy how some people here have partly lost touch with money.

Okay, point taken, maybe we were talking past each other. Still, I am increasingly noticing here in the forum that people directly downgrade "normal-priced" things as inferior or something similar – personally, I find that quite a shame.

But back to the topic: it is definitely possible to build a nice piece of land for €300–350k.

The only thing you often read here is that Ikea kitchens are of lower quality... but that is only claimed by someone who has never owned one, let alone assembled one.

We are having a large kitchen (U-shape, with seating) including a quartz countertop made by a carpenter (in Poland) for max 14,000 €. However, without appliances. These will be entirely from Bosch, side-by-side cooling combination from LG. That brings the total to about 19,000 € for a high-quality kitchen. I find it a lot of money, thought it could easily be done for 15,000 € for everything. With the German kitchen studios (five in total), the price for a smaller kitchen was over 20,000 €.
