Show me an example where it says that you can’t get a decent kitchen for 15k?
The only thing you often read here is that Ikea kitchens are of lower quality.. but that is only claimed by someone who has never owned one, let alone assembled one.
That was not specifically about this thread, but generally referring to the forum. Budgets planned for kitchens at 15k € have often been dismissed arrogantly as unrealistic – which of course contributes to the uncertainty of potential home builders.
One must always keep in mind that it is a subjective matter – one person "needs" luxury or the premium segment, which is completely fine. Another is perfectly satisfied with a mid-range model. Even if it is then "only" Bosch, Samsung, or Siemens appliances and maybe initially just a wooden countertop, which can be replaced after 10 years if money gets a bit more available. Some simply view the kitchen as a utility item.
I didn’t want to go off-topic either, just wanted to make that clear once again.
