So,
yesterday there was another viewing. The thing with the basement, it is only one corner. That was the former coal cellar. According to the measuring device, the basement is slightly damp (rubble stones, it is the same at my parents-in-law’s).
The windows are from 1996, I specifically checked again.
Regarding the roof hatch, yes, it is an attic and therefore no hatch was installed because it is too small anyway.

We will have the invoices for the roof shown to us again regarding insulation, and then basically nothing stands in the way.
Also, after consulting with buddies and parents (they have all renovated their houses), it is in good shape and they like it. A house is never really finished.

Good morning, a little update. We received the invoice for the roof last night. It was done in 2013 by a roofing company. Although only with 120mm insulation, it's better than none at all.. Since I'm not very familiar yet, if I want to increase to 240 now, is it enough to add 120 or do I have to get 240? Thanks =) When the time comes, a few pictures of the house will follow. Regards Steven

It depends on how the structure is. Often it is even better if a second layer of insulation is applied crosswise to the existing one to cover the thermal bridges of the beams. Or are the beams 240mm and filled with only 120mm insulation?

So the attic was insulated with 120 mm and the beams as well. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how thick the beams are. But it was done by a professional company back then. My thought was to add another 120mm layer across the attic?! Of course, I also want to insulate the basement ceiling, but I have to see what is best since it is slightly curved. Regards
