Installing awnings with a "problematic" (?) mounting situation

Maybe a pergola would be an alternative on which a plant can climb. We have something like that in the garden, and it is very pleasant to sit under it during hot temperatures. At least in winter, it does not darken the inside because the plant is then bare.

Why does it have to be an awning at all? Room shading? Exterior blinds would be much better for that. Because the area covered by the balcony shouldn’t be a problem at all in the summer now.

For room sun protection, I consider an awning fundamentally unsuitable. What if it gets stormier during the day? Who rolls in the awning?

According to the photos, there are Venetian blinds, so I think it is only about the outdoor area. What I just thought of: you can certainly attach a sun sail to the fall protection.

Exactly, we do have exterior blinds/venetian blinds. There are several reasons for shading the outdoor area. On the one hand, the terrace stones are such massive heat storers and at the same time radiators that you can feel the heat inside in front of the window. The venetian blinds don’t help much with that. On the other hand, due to the south-south-west orientation, we have the blazing sun from morning until late afternoon and can therefore practically not use the terrace. The balcony over part of the terrace unfortunately only helps to a limited extent. It only provides about 50% shade and that only from midday onward; before that, the sun shines in sideways under the balcony. So you also can’t really sit there except if you sit in the back corner or directly next to the window. This problem would also be solved with an awning over the uncovered part, as this is east of the covered part.

We would like to control the wind and rain via a sensor, since the awning(s) definitely should be operated electrically. If the awning(s) is/are properly fixed, you probably wouldn't stay outside anyway when the wind is so strong that you have to retract it/them.

Regarding the sun sail:
We had that idea too, but for that you would have to put 2-3 posts into the ground somewhere. And take the sails down and put them up again whenever the timing isn’t right? It’s doable, but maybe in the long run you get annoyed and just stop doing it...

I also don't think the sun sail is a perfect solution, but I believe it can be implemented the easiest, fastest, and most cost-effectively. On the right terrace, it might be enough to attach the sail on the left to the rain gutter, then you only need one post. Or there are also triangular sails. Edit: our previous neighbors had a swing in the garden, and they attached a sail to it. I could also imagine a tree. So there are various possibilities.

the planned awning surfaces are very large, you not only have the weight on the fastenings but also the wind load and thus dynamic stresses, wind force 3 with gusts 5 and you only hear the leaves rustling.
With electric and sensors,
they are set so sensitively for safety reasons that the awnings are retracted at slight wind, otherwise gusts with 5 and your anchors or house wall are damaged.
Since you rely on the sensors, they have to be set sensitively,
the result is your awning is retracted at slight wind and you sit with the cream cake in the sun, you already have that now, but cheaper.
With the large surface you will not get around supports, there are very delicate systems
