There is still some space between the fall protection and your window. Isn't that area sufficient for mounting? Or do you definitely want the awning higher than the top edge of the window?
If you bring up something that in any way affects the resident of the 1st floor, I would rather not want to do that. There are various options for a free-standing awning or shading, including from the mentioned Klaiber but also from elsewhere. I have also seen louvered roofs here, also free-standing. I could rather imagine that than screwing something on where I and the craftsmen would feel only half comfortable. A continuous glass roof with internal shading, possibly even manual, would also be conceivable.

We have also already thought about freestanding shading, but actually we do not want any additional supports. Then there would be supports everywhere, which probably wouldn’t look so good.
Regarding the resident of the 1st floor:
1. I think it has little to do with him if I install an awning there.
2. This particular resident has already taken up places in the house for himself (free spots where you could put something but actually aren’t allowed to for fire protection reasons) or, for example, simply drilled a bracket for his roof box into the ceiling of the underground garage with several screws (which is therefore the floor of our apartment... I just hope he didn’t drill too deep)... all this without asking anyone. So I have little scruple about attaching something to the façade, especially since it has already been approved as a general permission by all owners.
I am open to further/other suggestions. If there is a good alternative to the awning, we are not opposed to it. Maybe we haven’t thought of something.
Ok sure, then maybe concrete over the upper window - The idea would rather be that you can always sit under the glass, even when it rains, but yes, there are special posts for that; although if they were made of metal, that might not necessarily look bad. In the end, you probably have to find a provider for whom that is not a problem; if necessary, inquire a bit outside and send these pictures beforehand.
