Install laundry chute in shower?

Funny. I can only recommend all skeptics to give it a try. [Wäscheschacht] is one of the coolest things you can do. Costs are really manageable, benefits huge.

But you still have to "carry up" the finished laundry again.

yes, but I have the big advantages that I have already described. I even once saw a laundry chute with vertical funnels/tubes to throw dark/light/colored laundry properly in at the top. That even saves you the sorting!

I wouldn’t have to carry them down several times a week anymore. Especially not to a basement over 2 floors...

If you have a lot of laundry with children, the kids can gladly help. Much more effective than a laundry chute ;). It’s a construct that would be last, last, last on my list and that I have never built for myself (us).

Alternative laundry chute light: Dimension the stairwell large enough to throw the laundry from the upper floor ([OG]) directly down to the ground floor/basement ([EG/KG]) with targeted throws :cool:

With a top loader, the laundry could also end up directly in the machine...

With a cleaning lady, the whole issue would have been resolved...
