Install laundry chute in shower?

I find a laundry chute totally unnecessary. Actually, really unnecessary. It takes away the part of the whole process that is least annoying, fastest, and not strenuous at all.

In the case of a drop chute, I have this pile at best next to or above the washing machine...

The main point is that you don't first collect the dirty laundry somewhere in a pile in the bathroom before carrying it down, and not about the carrying down itself (although that is also a comfort advantage in my opinion). I wouldn't want to look at a pile of dirty laundry in my beautiful, new bathroom!
In a family with 2 children, that pile grows very quickly!
With a laundry chute, I have this pile at best next to or above the washing machine...

yes, they are also not heavy or cumbersome at all ;) I wouldn’t have to carry them down several times a week anymore. Especially not to a basement over 2 floors...
