Install laundry chute in shower?

It is comfortable to have the washing machine on the level where the laundry is generated. In the shaft, you only save carrying it down. You still have to walk down and carry it back up... I would never put it in the shower. It will never be permanently sealed. It also looks awful.

Regarding the laundry chute: For us, one of the best things you can plan in the house. I would rather give up the bathroom above than the chute. But of course, both would be optimal now! Unfortunately, the chute insert in the attic, regarding the location, is a "small" planning mistake (albeit the only one). Unfortunately, the craftsmen were faster back then and we no longer had any influence on the position of the insert. Now it would be nice if we could still find the most elegant solution despite this planning mistake. I will get in touch later! Thanks to you

I wouldn't do it. A shower is wet for a long time... before I step into the shower and get annoyed by moisture on my clothes/socks, I'd rather take the laundry downstairs. Nice basket with a lid at the stairs and that's it.

Who still goes down to the basement to do laundry nowadays??? This is a new building! It's definitely much more comfortable that way
