Morning

The pipes run radially from the air distributor into the rooms. Most providers use identical pipes and fittings. I think it is important that the pipe has an almost smooth and only slightly wavy shape on the inside.

Yes, but more than ten pipes, because sometimes more air demand was calculated, then two pipes go to one valve. I have 14 pipes running from the basement and ground floor to the attic, and there are another 7-8 hoses for the upper floor.

That means your controlled residential ventilation system is located in the attic? Does that offer advantages compared to the basement version?

I did not want any intake towers or intake near the ground.

I now have supply and exhaust air in the gables.

But it is feasible depending on taste...

Is the system then audible at the installation location?

I would hardly place them there if I could hear anything from them in the bedrooms - but that is also subjective. That is the planning assumption.

Our previous one in the rental apartment was in the guest bathroom and you could hear it quietly - it didn’t even bother me.

If I really find it unpleasant to hear them, I will just insulate afterwards.
