the property is somewhat more densely populated than yours and the OP is at a different point in life. You have your private forest, no immediate neighbors, and your children have left the nest.

Gladly. I find your point about mixing exciting.. We have time and I would be very happy about a new idea.

We had originally thought about that too. But that way we take more space from the garden at the back. Our architect also experimented a bit with the garage being in the north... however, he found the arrangement towards the west more sensible and nicer to realize.

I only have one comment regarding the heating technology. Concerning the ground source heat pump, I would suggest looking into the [Ringrabenkollektor]. It is definitely feasible on your property and you save a lot compared to deep drilling, and you can also contribute your own work.

This is not comprehensible to me: The garage is 7 meters away from the north side.
If you move it as edge development to the north, you do get a slightly larger driveway and roughly one meter "less" garden somewhere in the south, but honestly, one should very gladly, very very gladly give that up if you get a light-flooded house and can even open the house to the west. West is much more important in summer; south is important for the interior rooms in the O-O months. Additionally, a garden appears larger if you can also look at it diagonally. Ultimately, if you look at the "backyard development," a bit more courtyard area can’t be wrong either. Visually, a (right) angle always appears positive (this lever was also applied for the terrace).

Thank you. But: I confused the positioning of the children's bathroom and office/workroom. Well. The basic theme of children’s rooms both facing south remains.
Even though we planned the bedroom on the upper floor: I have definitely enjoyed having the apartment on the ground floor in rental flats. Quickly outside, less heat in summer. No going up and down in the evening.
