Is the same in the children's room, though.

WOW! You guys are amazing. Really! I've never experienced such an active and competent forum, thank you so much!! We will get an attic, yes. That way we can store snowboard, Bobbycar and the like up there. The corner bathtub makes sense. As I said, I need to check the ceiling height here. We have also already changed the door stop of the front door, it doesn't make sense for us otherwise. A window will be placed above the couch on the upper floor, otherwise it would be too dark for us. The staircase access would work, right? Move the bathroom window to the left? For the guest shower, I would definitely have to take 2 m² from the kitchen... I'm really considering that. @ Dirk: Your idea assumes the niche in the kitchen, right? Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You are AWESOOOME! Heiko

Damn, I really didn't consider that your stairs also lead downwards. So you actually don't have any storage space under the stairs on the ground floor. Everyone here is right: where do you want to store beverage crates, mops, vacuum cleaners, and all the everyday stuff? The downstairs is already full of tech and laundry stuff... And a shower takes up even more space :( How often do you have guests who need a shower? For one day a year, a hotel including taxi would be cheaper ;)

Really good your floor plan. May I ask what the red lines (with the circles) in the basement mean?

Best regards
Jochen

Yes, we have to stack the boxes under the stairs in the basement. We had considered putting Staubi and co. in an extra large kitchen cabinet, I had already seen them. We don't get visitors often, you always think about later and want to prepare for all eventualities, but you are right about the hotel...
