Yes, I know. It’s also a question of how the house next door looks. The corner bathtub probably looks good too. And if there is still a lot of space left under the slope, you could even consider putting the washing machine and dryer there.

Great designs, I will sit down with the planner tonight. We are building near Stuttgart. I would rather not reduce the children's room. The architect will have to find another solution for us. If we have, as I seem to remember, a knee wall of 1.10, then the bathtub would fit around the corner, right? Toilet then at the upper left wall side and the shower bottom left. The two washbasins below, as planned? With a T wall? Is that popular at the moment? Here is the design of the guest WC: @Dirk: Something like this? That is really mini, right? Is that possible, or will I get a hard time when my father visits us with his beer belly : )

One could also reduce the size of the 2nd children's room so that, according to my suggestion above, there would again be 2 approximately equally sized rectangular children's rooms, without any niches or corners.

Hello Heiko,

yes, that looks quite neat. The shower tray you have planned now is an 80 x 80 tub. That is a completely normal size.

Our shower tray in the apartment with 90 x 90 was still considered a luxury size 14 years ago....

Now in the house, there is a shower in the guest bathroom with 80 x 90 - I think that should definitely be enough.

The WC you have planned is quite a chunk with 70 cm depth - with a shorter (normal) WC you can also gain some space.

Find out how your definitive knee wall height and roof pitch look like - the usability of the attic depends on that.

We are also building in the greater Stuttgart area, more precisely in the Böblingen district.

Which construction company (also gerne per PN) have you chosen?

Regards,

Dirk

Unfortunately, that doesn't work at all, because you need a standing height of 2 meters for toilet, shower and washbasin each.

The only variant that is currently recognizable and also works is the one from : you regain the 2 sqm from the child's room by shifting the partition wall. This way you even have two equally sized rooms :)

P.s. Unfortunately, the bathroom planners cannot define roof slopes :(
