We have a west orientation and I think it's perfect! The kitchen and dining room windows face south with lots of light during the day. Living room and terrace face west, beautiful in the evening! The living room also gets plenty of light during the day. In my opinion, it doesn't need to be too much, otherwise in midsummer you always have to keep everything closed.

What I like best is the entrance in the east - it puts you in a good mood when you step outside in the morning and the sun is already shining in your face

We have a west-facing terrace and nothing works there without a parasol, I would much more consider what you want to see from the [Giebelfenstern].

Ok, thanks to you. The decision is just difficult because we have a north plot which is accessed via a long driveway in the south/west corner. The easiest is the east orientation, but then there would be no sun on the terrace around 2 p.m. The view towards the north is best, there is still a row of houses in front there and then nothing for kilometers. I have attached a photo. Ours is number 27. The photo is oriented north. Plot without driveway approx. 27m x 27m

Sorry, but no number can be read.

What I would give right now for a north terrace. With the heat in this country and no water coming from above, you also long for some shade once in a while.
East would also be nice. Since the weather can no longer be calculated here, I always tend to several partial-use terraces. I think it is important that there is enough daylight in the dining/living area. But a room with a west window can also have a north terrace, a room with a south window can have an east, south, or west terrace... etc.
Without a sketch of the room program, nothing works here.

And, you also need the possible building window within the property, to be more precise. If I have understood 27 correctly, then I also see a nice west to northwest terrace location there.
