Hello Haydee, we have clarified the access via the outbuilding; it will be very difficult to impossible for that to be accepted. Besides, the entire area of the outbuilding would then be deducted from our living space. That means we would lose 50m² of living space or, in other words, we would have to build the house 4 meters shorter.

As I wrote earlier, you are probably right that I should not take the division too seriously yet and focus on the present, but apart from pushing the stairs back (and thus a larger entrance area) and swapping the bathroom between the rooms on the ground floor (resulting in more wall space and separation), I do not see much optimization potential.
Maybe one has to take a step back and look at everything a little differently.

Hello Hanghaus

No, the new building is not standing yet, but the application has been submitted. As far as I understand, nothing can be changed about the exterior design after that, but I have to ask again first so I don't say anything wrong here.

Why would you prefer a large window with only one door instead of the large front in the southeast? So there is more wall?

Again, ashes on my head that I did not find the first post and simply created a new one. You are really that helpful and I was too lazy to search a bit longer, sorry.

Hello Hanghaus, I like this version better of your two variants, now I also understand what you mean with the door and fixed glazing in the southeast facade. But I don’t think the variant with the kitchen in the bottom right is so bad either.

Sorry, I just saw that I am supposed to insert the text always after the quote, I will adhere to that from now on, sorry that I did that part incorrectly.

I would think completely anew. Since it was created quickly, many things don’t look nice. But you understand what I mean with it. A "proper" entrance area. You can also represent the two rooms. But: Don’t you have an architect and do everything yourself?
