That's stupid when they place the connection so wrong. You probably won't get that approved. In case of doubt, you drive down to the garage and then walk back up to the house. Cars park slanting in front of the garage, no gate possible behind the garage. Accessibility gone. One would have to test whether something like that is even permissible under this aspect.
