Floor plan staircase planning: Does that make sense?

Basement: if possible, swap the laundry room and the technical room. You have to go to the laundry room almost daily, hopefully rarely to the technical room.

Alternatively, combine the technical room and the utility room and gain a basement room at the back.

What is the large heating room used for?

Just asking. Are you planning to apply for KfW funding twice?

We also thought about a laundry chute for a long time, but didn't come up with a better solution since you still have to go through the ground floor and end up in the laundry room in the end. Originally, the technical room and laundry room were also swapped. However, I wanted to realize all the house connections via the shortest path, so the technical room would now be at the corner of the house. Although we want to remove the wall between the technical room and the laundry room. The large "heating room" would therefore be our storage room in the basement.

Yes, we will apply for KFW funding twice.

I didn’t want to shut this down above either, we are definitely open to improvements that we can still realize now. What do concrete improvement suggestions look like? We are not experts and accordingly often find it very difficult to imagine the floor plan in the actual execution, so of course we have relied on the experience of our planner. We actually found that the plan now fits our needs quite well despite one or two compromises. Now we are already close to the construction planning and, after all the negative feedback, are naturally very insecure. Moreover, we still lack ideas on how to specifically improve the weaknesses you mentioned without completely redoing the planning.

In my opinion, it is clear that the building authority has no objections to the granny flat, as there is a second escape route due to the light well.

However, the criteria of the KfW are different. Hopefully you won't get into trouble there.

Good to know that you are still flexible in the basement.

Conveniently, for example, with answering the follow-up questions, in my case: in which corridor you would want to rearrange the space of the stairwell.

You actually only asked two questions: the one "whether that makes sense" (so one that could still be nicely titled "open question," but basically can only be answered with "42") and the aforementioned persistently unexplained one. Be glad if the answers are more substantial than such practically useless questions.

We also prefer to be fully shown the picture to be considered, rather than having to guess in order to be able to advise.

For example, like your "thanks" for my attempt of an answer that still pointed out all sensitive issues

I call that (with your words) a "wild guess" about my private environment, and "hurtful sounding" also calling it "the same level."
You don't even want to imagine what one would...

... have been thrown back at you for the constructive suggestion of a complete replanning from you. "Approved" hopefully doesn't mean built yet.

You are right, I formulated that incorrectly: this is the first residential unit lacking separation. ...

... and later you might want to turn the ground floor into another granny flat? - if I now say it looks like that (at first glance I would have taken the open space for the granny flat), will I get the next round of scolding from you right away?

2. now, after because of you the two lower flights were folded seven times and
1. without reversing the resulting damages to the floor plan layout after the turn,
honestly, that is "the rotten egg of Columbus’ egg." Truths do not always sound sweet.

As explained above, I see that as a risk, since without separation of the first residential unit, there are actually not two residential units. Maybe has a practical opinion on that?

"Before working drawings" means "lost time and costs of the first building application," but at least opens the goldenest of all ways out, namely the healing throwing over of this plan, militarily one would call it "Operation Breakthrough." If you have already contracted a general contractor, go to an independent architect. You have now experienced (although probably not fully realized yet) what it means to be actually abandoned, relying on the experience of a draftsman. And regarding the experience of the engineer using every trick to cram in too many wishes, he is really only to be praised at most. Sometimes the builder himself is the greatest enemy of his project’s success. So don’t repeat this mistake with the next planner, wanting a jack-of-all-trades. Start a new thread here with the completed questionnaire including the site plan with elevation points, then you will be well helped here and indeed have been helped. You know by now that nothing scares us. Friendship and good luck – fresh, the comrades are at hand!

then I would like to apologize in advance. When I read everything again now, it seems different. I misunderstood a lot and was/am very insecure. I don't want to "scold" here and try not to take anything personally. In any case, we are grateful for everything that helps us move forward. Our energy consultant said that the arrangement with the granny flat would be fine. It is apparently okay to access the granny flat through a shared hallway. In fact, that was the intention (we were also advised this from various sources), that we can separate the ground floor and first floor. I really appreciate the opinions here and have been reading for a very long time. We went to an independent planner and then approached various general contractors, and ultimately chose one. In your opinion, is the plan really so "overplanned" that the advice would be to start everything over?
