I would swap the master bedroom with the children's room in the east. The children are simply in the room more often during the day and benefit more from the brightness. Also, yours stays cooler. That’s an advantage too [emoji6]

Regarding the kitchen, I also don’t find it suitable with the island. It all gets too tight. Since we have to make some changes to the kitchen at the moment, I’m currently considering two variants in the closer selection.

Playing around with a program helps me a lot. Maybe our pictures will help you as a comparison. Much is similar after all [emoji6] As a born accountant, I am simply not a creative person [emoji23]

That would be the 2nd option. But I don't like it that much. Something's missing and it feels cold

Yes, but rather because of windows and location, although unfortunately there is once again no orientation arrow on the drawings and no site plan with the house drawn in. (Everything is just described somewhere in text and I do not want to look for it every time.)

And I would make the swap so that the double bed actually works

: Is the "released" area in the drawing here merely "not the subject of this detailed consideration," or simply "the rest that (the staircase and) the other rooms have to fight over"?

I find it better solved with the crossbar; then the kitchen at least has a bit of design separation. Overall, I consider open kitchens generally only suitable for pizza orderers.

A dedicated thread for your house might be more practical / clearer.

In any case, your designs get significantly more light into the kitchen than in the previous design of this thread.

No no, I didn’t want to start a discussion about my designs now. The pictures were more for illustration, as I think our floor plan is similar.

For the rest, we already have a floor plan, but I haven’t yet drawn it into mine or planned it with furniture. It wouldn’t be interesting here anyway, since our floor plan differs from this one.
