Floor plan of semi-detached house, 2.5 floors + usable basement

I’m not sure if I’m allowed to just publish the GU’s stuff on the internet, so I imported the floor plan as a template into Sweet Home 3D and redrew it. Pretty cool feature of the program, you really can’t go wrong with it.

The so-called "improper" in this sense could fill volumes. I give the advice here free of charge during my coffee breaks or when instead of my favorite show a "Brennpunkt" about the death of Karl Ranseier is on, and professional drawings are often much faster for me to read. Copyright concerns, by the way, are not resolved by showing only one copy of a plan.

The carport has a width of 4.52m, a car is about 1.80m wide. So more than 2m remain as a passage. That should be enough or am I overlooking something?

That's right, the single carport is a bit wider than others. But your calculation isn't quite correct:
- 5.52m is the outer width, from which you have to subtract the roof overhang and posts. That costs you at least 30cm on each side. (How is it actually planned on the house side? With posts or as an attached carport?)
- 1.80m is a reasonable value for a family wagon without mirrors. With mirrors about 25cm more
- You will hardly park right at the edge but still want to get out comfortably. Besides, you also won't want to drive past the posts with the mirrors to the centimeter.

All in all, the passage should actually be sufficient, but you are certainly far from the imaginary 2.5m. You have to look up exact values for your carport and your car yourself

For example, there can be problems if one of you builds without a basement.
